SUMMARY:Pure Religion Sunday
DESCRIPTION:Pure Religion Sunday is a global church initiative built around the call of James 1:27 — to care for orphans and widows in their distress. On this day\, churches around the world turn their attention to the vulnerable children and families in their communities\, and consider how they can respond through adoption\, foster care\, and everyday acts of support and belonging. \nIf your church hasn’t yet engaged with foster care or adoption ministry\, this is a meaningful moment to start that conversation. And if you’re already walking that road\, Pure Religion Sunday is a reminder that you’re part of something much bigger — a global movement of believers saying yes to the children and families who need them most. \nAt Uniting Hope\, this is the heartbeat of everything we do. We’d love to help your church take a next step — whether that’s learning more about foster care\, supporting a family in your congregation\, or opening your home. Reach out to us at unitinghope.org to find out how you can get involved.
